Hi! My name is Ashley and I’m the proud founder and owner of Candles By Ashley. As a candle lover, I’ve always had candles burning at any given time in my home. From self-care Sunday's to weeknight relaxation, candles set the stage for me and my family.

Fast forward to having a toddler with asthma and allergies, I found paraffin candles aggravated her symptoms. Finding a healthier more clean burning candle became a top priority of mine. After doing some intense research, I felt it was better to begin the daunting task of making my own candles. 

Do you know that soy wax is derived from soy bean oil, meaning that they are all natural? Paraffin wax on the other hand is a form of petroleum oil, which means that when you light a candle made of this,  you are burning oil in your house, giving off CO2 fumes for everyone to inhale. Keeping that in mind, soy wax became my go to for creating a clean burning candle. 

What started as a journey to continue enjoying one of my favorite things I appreciated for many years, blossomed into me helping others enjoy a clean burning candle also. 

I offer seven Collections and over 50 fragrances. Some of my favorite candles are bakery and fall inspired Easy Like Sunday Morning, Late Nights & Early Mornings, Pumpkin Caramel Crunch and Cran-Apple Marmalade.  These candles create such a delicious aroma throughout the home creating an inviting space to relax, or entertain in. 

Rest and Recharge is a collection near and dear to me as well. These candles bring a sense of relaxation to our mind, body and spirit. Lavender Bliss, creates a calming atmosphere, aiding in relaxation. Just Breathe, is a mint and eucalyptus blend which works well as a natural nasal decongestant.  My floral and herbal candles contain real flowers and herbs to create a more realistic experience.

Last but not least, you’ll also find Positive Vibes Only and Chakra Energy Candles.  These two take energy clearing to a whole new level. Whether you are enjoying yoga while watching the sunrise or meditating, these two candles make the perfect companions.
